The nginx.conf was missing a location block for /ws/ paths, causing WebSocket connections to fall through to the SPA catch-all and return index.html instead of proxying to Django/Daphne. This template provides a minimal setup to get React working in Vite with HMR and some ESLint rules.
Currently, two official plugins are available:
- @vitejs/plugin-react uses Babel (or oxc when used in rolldown-vite) for Fast Refresh
- @vitejs/plugin-react-swc uses SWC for Fast Refresh
